Yes, I know I completely and totally suck at drawing. I originally created this account to show off digital art, not make it. So this account sort of exists as a place to post stuff I actually DO draw every now and then. I'm perfectly aware I'm no artist.

Current Residence: Twin Rivers
Operating System: Windows 2000 (Currently WIndows 7)
MP3 player of choice: Winamp, duh.
Shell of choice: What the hell's that mean?
Personal Quote: "Life is NOT a joke. Everything else is."
Two of my gallery entries have been removed my administrators. Turns out I'm not allowed to post any of my Icons on Deviant since It's all in violation of copyright standards.

Oh well. I guess I'll have to learn to draw or something. My reign of Icon-making appears to be over.

Nevermind everything that top post says. According to the administrators what I am doing is still in violation of copyright. So much as using a sprote from a video game is forbidden.

So, I guess I'll have to actually DRAW (which is not one of my strong suits)

Okay, I guess I should start with the basics.
Hello, one and all! I am Dr. Smart. While I'm not actually an artist, I like to amuse myself by making my own MSN display pics using an old program called M.U.G.E.N.
In case you're curious what this is, it is a versitile fighting engine designed by a comany called Elecbyte around 1999, which is fully customizable. You can add and alter whatever characters, stages, music, screenart, and even lifebars you desire. It's one of the best-kept secrets in the gaming community, and it's hard not to wonder how such a cool concept was abandoned long ago. What's worse is it's very difficult to find characters for it, since a lot of links are dead, that and creators were tired of work being stolen. It's somewhat of a tragedty that it's been left to rot the past few years.
I discovered M.U.G.E.N. about six months ago, so most of the interesting stuff is already offline.
Unfortunatly, copyrights being what they are, I'm obligated to offer this statment:

"'M.U.G.E.N.' and all similar applications or likenesses are trademark of elecybyte. - ALL materal that appears in these pictures (including characters, backgrounds, attacks, etc.) are strictly the property of the company that created them and/or the creator(s) that either converted or designed them. I take ABSOLUTELY no credit for anything that appears in these icons; excluding(mostly) the captions."
Furthermore, since I am the creator of the pictures, I take ownership of my work. So, if you decide to use one as your Icon or whatnot, just make sure you acknowledge me.
Now that the legal crap is out of the way, I should probably also state that I do not wish to be constantly bombarded with questions like, "Where can I get (something that appeared in an icon)?" or, "Where can I get this game?" I'll be happy to provide a link to said resource if I can, but I refuse to directly give anything people ask for; It's against the wishes of most creators.
Now then, I make myself a Pic every week or so, and the sizes tend to vary depending on how much content I felt needed to fit in. I'll always state what character(s) appear, and any other info I feel like adding.
In conclusion, enjoy my work, as I know I've enjoyed making and using them!
